How Kobo works

  1. In Ireland

    You send euros

See the fee before you confirm.

  2. On the way

    It stays in digital dollars

Not naira until they say so.

  3. In Nigeria

    They choose when it's naira

It waits in their own Kobo account.

  • Request Ask for money with a link.
  • Track See where every transfer is.
  • Approve Nothing moves until you confirm.

Digital dollars are USDC on Solana, designed to stay worth one US dollar.

Why we built Kobo

The problem
Our parents' money took days to land, lost some to fees, then lost more as the naira fell.
What we built
Kobo lets your family hold digital dollars until they choose naira.
Why us
We lived this. Kobo is what we wished they'd had.
